Time to hit the shops!

Pay day weekend is the best time to beat the January blues with a touch of retail therapy. I headed to Bicester Village to see what the new boutiques had to offer.

First stop breakfast! We headed straight to La Pain Quotidien for a boost of energy before we hit the shops. Nothing really beats the classic combination of scones, jam and cream.

Not forgetting an enormous hot chocolate! Definitely what I needed on this cold January morning.

After a few hours shopping I came away with some real bargains. I managed to bag myself a gorgeous Barbour coat, some basic tops from Jack Wills and a new purse from Ted Baker.

When I go shopping I love to be comfortable, especially when I am trying lots of things on. I decided to go for a super soft jumper dress from Tobi and over the knee boots (I've had these a couple of years now and can't remember where they are from), so that I was both comfortable and warm. I loved the dove grey colour of this dress and I think it worked really well with my oatmeal coloured coat from ASOS.
