Burt's Bees Skin Care Range

I have been a fan of Burt's Bees for a while now but have only just got round to trying out their skin care range. I decided to invest in the whole range to test if the products live up to the usual high standard of product I have come to expect from Burt's Bees.

The first thing I tried was the Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil, I think this is a relatively new launch for the brand and wasn't something I had seen before. This Facial Cleansing Oil is made of Coconut and Argan Oils so it naturally moisturises the skin while it cleanses and cleans.

I found this melted my makeup away easily and didn't make my eyes sting, which I have found other cleansers can do. This cleanser even managed to get waterproof makeup off after the first cleanse. The cleanser doesn't leave an oily layer and left my skin feeling hydrated rather then tight.

The Burt's Bees Intensive Hydration Cream Cleanser was created with Clary Sage as the plant has the ability to trap and retain moisture in harsh environments, which makes it the perfect ingredient for a hydrating cleanser. This cream cleanser gently moisturises and cleans the skin.

I like to do a double cleanse in the evening to make sure I have removed all traces of my makeup and also give my skin a gentle clean. The creamy formula of this cleanser helped to sooth my skin and left it feels thoroughly cleansed but not stripped of moisture.

The Burt's Bees Peach and Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub has a creamy formula with finely ground peach stone which work to polish the skin, removing dirt and excess oil.

I have been using this scrub every other night and have found it to be really good at clearing out my pores. It's a gentle creamy cleanser with exfoliating particles so it is easy to focus on areas where more exfoliation is needed, e.g. nose and chin. This also left my skin feeling cleansed without feeling stripped and tight.

The Intense Hydration Day Lotion is infused with Clary Sage to create a fast absorbing, intensely hydrating moisturiser.

I use this in the mornings after cleansing to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. It has a lovely sweet scent and the cream absorbs quickly into my skin. I have found this works well both under makeup and by itself and has left my skin feeling moisturised all day.

The Intense Hydration Eye Cream is a lightweight cream designed to provide the eye area with intense hydration and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The eye cream again is something I apply in the mornings. It has a lightweight feel on the skin and feels nice a calming on the sensitive skin under my eyes. This has really helped to restore moisture to my under eye area and helps me look less tried.

Although I like to cleanse my skin properly there are occasions when I feel to tired to do a full cleansing routine so I picked up the Facial Cleansing Towelettes with White Tea Extract to use on those lazy days. These Cleansing Towelettes are infused with White Tea Extract, Cucumber Extracts and Aloe Leaf Juice so they cleanse and calm skin.

These Cleansing Towelettes are made of a super soft cotton like material which feels very gentle on the skin. I have tried these out a couple of times now and they have removed all traces of makeup, including mascara. These are really handy to through in my gym bag so I can remove my makeup before I go for a swim.
