Getting Seriously Spendy In The States

I have returned from my American road trip and it is safe to say that my bank is now looking remarkably empty. It's time to cut back on the online shopping a save for a while and enjoy the goodies I picked up in the states.

First stop was New York which of course means 5th Avenue and iconic stores such as Henri Bendel, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue and every girls favourite Tiffany's. I have to say that I am pretty proud of myself that I didn't go crazy in Henri Bendel. It is handbag heaven in there and everyone who knows me, knows how much I love handbags!

My very lovely boyfriend said he'd treat me to a new handbag and together we picked the West 57th Mini Travel Satchel in light blue. I absolutely love it! The perfect summer bag; it's big enough to fit in all my essentials and is a delicate cornflour blue.

I also decided to treat myself to a couple of bits from Henri Bendel and picked up the Signature Stripe Canvas Tote which I had monogrammed with my initials and a Skinny Enamel Bangle.

Next shop on my hit list was of course Sephora, how can a beauty junkie go to America and not visit at least 5 different Sephora's?

I didn't go to crazy in Sephora and tried to make sure I only picked up things from brands that are hard to get in the UK. On the top of my wishlist were the Anastasia Liquid Lipsticks and the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. I also wanted to check out some new skincare and I find the Sephora selection packs are a great way of trying out new products. Here's what I got:

Clarifying Skincare Value Set (not available online)
Anastastia Liquid Lipsticks in Crush and Kathryn
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara
Sephora Collection Pearl Sleeping Mask

I visited a few other shops including Bath And Body Works, where I picked up two candles and a selection of hand sanitisers and Victoria Secrets where I stocked up on a whole new set of essentials.
