Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow

Nothing makes you look healthier then fresh, glowing skin. I'm always on the hunt for products which will transform my skin from dull to radiant. I have just discovered the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow and I think I've struck gold!

Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow is 12 hours sleep and sunshine in a tube. After reading Mille Mackintosh's book Made, where she recommends this product as her skin saviour, I knew I had to try it.

I suffer from dry, very pale skin which a lot of the time makes me look like I'm ill (pale problems). I've tried highlighting bases in the past but find a lot of the time they either leave me looking a bit too orange or the chunks of shimmer in them end up making me look like one of the Cullen's. I was a bit cautious when first trying this product, I swatched it on the back of my hand before applying it straight to my face so that I could see how intense the colour and shimmer would look.

Instantly I was impressed with the consistency, colour and shimmer this product has. The Wonder Glow is a light, liquid consistency which applies smoothly onto the skin without sitting in pores or creases. I have had an issue with a simmer style product in the past where all the shimmer gathered and left glittery lines on my face, really not a good look! I found that the product applies sheerly and evenly, but it can be built up if you are looking for a deeper colour.

For me a light layer all over the face gives my skin the added boost to look lightly sun kissed and healthy without looking like I've applied a fake tan. I have worn it both on its own and under makeup and it looks fantastic both ways.

If you have darker skin then me this product would look fantastic layered up and even patted on top of cheekbones as a soft highlight.

I would highly recommend trying out this product if your looking for a healthy glow this winter. Charlotte Tilbury has become far more accessible this year with more department stores stocking her line. For £38.00 this isn't exactly a cheap product but having tried the cheaper versions I have really noticed the difference in quality so I will be sticking to this one from now on.

Next on my Charlotte Tilbury wish list in her new Magic Foundation which sounds out of this world ad I can't wait to try it!
