BareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 4.0 Palette

This is the first product from the bareMinerals range I have tried out. My mum actually bought it for herself as she is just getting back into makeup and it has all you need to create a soft smokey eye. This eyeshadow quad contains four neutral shades, one matt creamy taupe and 3 shimmery browns.

Priced at £29.00 this isn't the cheapest eyeshadow quad on the market. BareMinerals as a brand is supposed to naturally sourced ingredients and therefor be better for your skin which is the reasoning for the higher price point.

The shadows themselves are a very soft, buttery texture which blend together really easily. When used with a primer they can last all day without smudging or creasing. However I did find when I wore the shadows without primer they didn't stay put very well. This could be due to the fact I do get quite greasy eyelids but it's something to look out for if you suffer when greasy eyelids too. The one downside I think this eyeshadow quad has is that instead of having a matt light shade, it would have been more useful to have a matt dark brown but that is purely to do with my personal preference when creating a smokey eye look.

The eyeshadow doesn't come with any fancy packaging just a slimline black container. It's a very nice lightweight and compact design so you wouldn't mind popping it in your handbag. It comes with the usual makeup sponge stick which I never use but it could be handy for a touch up on the go.

Overall I was quite impressed with the eyeshadows however I'm not sure I would purchase more because I don't think it's really worth the £29.00 price tag. Although the quality of the shadows is good I would personally prefer to save my money and buy a cheaper quad.

Formula X Nail Polish System

The Formula X Nail Polish System is an exclusive nail varnish system available in Sephora. Living in  England it is hard to get hold of this system but when my dad went to American he kindly picked my up a set along with two of the nail colours.

How the system works:

Its a simple 4 set system which is claims to leave you with a long lasting, salon quality manicure at home. This system is said to have twice the wear length of of normal nail polish with chip resistant colours.

Step 1: CLEANSE Nail Cleanser which is an essential salon secret the CLEANSE polish is infused with witch hazel, vitamin E, and cucumber extract to help rid nails of oil and residue and optimise base coat adherence.

Step 2: PRIME is the next step and is an advanced multitasking primer that works to prevent staining, aids in protecting the natural nail, and acts as an adhesive layer, allowing colour to take hold for a long-lasting manicure.
Step 3: Nail colour.
Step 4: The final step is to seal in your manicure with SHINE, a super glossy, fast-drying top coat that delivers the ultimate gel-like shine and relentless stay-true colour.

I have tried out both colours from this nail polish system and have to say they do live up to their long wearing claims. I think that the blue shade (Infatuated) wore longer on the nails. But because of the high glitter density of the glittery polish (Revolution) it was an easy nail varnish to touch up.

I would recommend buying the system if you can get your hands on it. Unfortunately these products can't be shipped to the UK but if you know anyone who can pick you one up it's worth asking for one. The nail polish system costs $32.00 which includes one nail colour of your choice, and the individual nail polishes cost $10.50. You don't necessarily need the whole system the nail varnishes are great on their own but if you want the extended long wear you will need the whole system.

About Cloudberry

Cloudberry Bags evolved in early Jan 2014. The company's philosophy is that their customers become part of an exclusive club. The Cloudberry team prides itself on customer service and aims to create a pleasurable shopping experience for its customers.

"Our collection blends together timeless fashion statements mixed with a contemporary pallet. Sometimes fun and vibrant, sometimes elegant and sophisticated, but always tasteful." - Cloudberry

Ordering A Bag

The website has a user friendly interface which means you can buy any bags quickly and easily. But should you come across any difficulties with your purchase the customer service team are on hand and quick to respond to any queries.

Bag Delivery

Cloudberry bags take around 3 days to arrive to mainland UK and around 5 days for wider UK areas. The delivery charges are listed below:

£4.95 for 1 Handbag
£6.95 for 2 Handbags
£8.95 for 3 Handbags

The bags come very well packaged so there's no risk of your bag getting damaged during delivery. The bag I received arrived in a well stuffed box with the bag inside a dust cover. There is no fancy packaging but honestly I never keep any packaging anyway so this doesn't bother me.

(Kitten not included)

The Bag

The style of bag I picked was the Bond Bag, this is available in a variety of colours but as I wanted mine for A/W I went for the black one. The bond bag is a very structured bag which is what I tend to look for. The bag features one main opening with a zip closure, and three small inside pockets, one of which also has a zip closure. It has a grained texture which is ideal as it doesn't show up any scuffs or scratches and has silver hardware. Costing only £35 the bag is a pretty good bargain.

My Review

My bag arrived at the end of November and I have been using it everyday since it arrived. The bag shows no wear or tear and its structure still remains the same as it was when I received it. I have found that the bag can carry a lot of stuff in it (I carry around a lot of junk) easily including A4 documents although these do stick out the top a little. Overall I am really impressed with the bags quality and the customer service I received I would definitely recommend Cloudberry bags as they are a great and affordable way to update your wardrobe, whilst also getting the quality you would expect from higher end brands.

This is not a sponsored post however I did work with Cloudberry to produce it. All the content has been written by myself and the views are my own.

Autumn/Winter Style with Cloudberry

As a self confessed bag addict it only seemed right to treat myself to a new bag for this Autumn/Winter season. I went for the Bond Bag by Cloudberry, in Black. I am going to do a full post on the bag and Cloudberry on Thursday so if your interested check out my next post.

Living in England it gets pretty chilly this time of year so the outfit I went for is a wrapped up, 60's inspired style. I know the scarf and coat aren't strictly 60s style but this is my take on an easy to wear winter style.

Coat - Gap Tall, Scarf - ASOS, Hat - Very.com, Bag - Cloudberry, Shoes - New Look, Top - Primark, Skirt - New Look, Tights - John Lewis, Necklace - Anna Lou of London

My Little Box - Fleur De Force Edition

This months My Little Box was a lovely treat when it arrived. It is so nice to see a colab with Youtuber and Blogger Fleur de Force.  Once again the packaging and illustration on the box is spectacular and if I was Fleur I would be very happy with the illustration they have done of her.

This month came packed with all things to do with wrapping and making your christmas presents extra special and Pinterest ready. I received a little packet of masking tap in fun patterns.

Cute little gift tags which will brighten up even the plainest looking gift.

Inside this months box I also received a little Present. It is a knitted grey headband which has a gold thread running through the knit to add a hint of sparkle.

Inside the beauty bag was three pretty great samples. The first is the Cowshed Wild Cow invigorating body lotion which is a luxury 100ml sample. Next is the L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Cream again in a luxury 15ml sample size. Lastly is my favourite thing from the box and it is from the My Little Beauty's own range, Rouge A Levres is a tinted lip balm.

The tinted balm gives a lovely red hint to your lips, leaving them feeling nourished and in a your lips but better shade.

I am a big fan of the My Little World magazine that comes in every issue and was yet again impressed with this months contents. The magazine includes a mixture of interviews, DIYs and recipes.

Have a wonderful 2015

Just a little post to say I hope you all have an amazing 2015. This year I am looking forward to new beginnings and new adventures. Now that I have finished university and am starting a new job I feel that 2015 is going to be a refreshing new start.
