Duty Free Shopping

When I went to Thailand last month I had a few hours to kill at the airport and it would have been rude not to see what duty free had to offer. There was an enormous selection of beauty goodies to chose from but I limited myself to just two purchases. I decided to go for the travel exclusive products as I think they will be ideal for future trips.

I bought a Givenchy lip gloss set and a Lancome do all palette.

Givenchy Ultra-Shiny Color - Plumping Effect Gloss - £30

From left to right:
06 Lilac Confession, 07 Glamorous Fuchsia, 08 Sexy Pink, 01 Capricious Pink, 04 Rose Taboo

The glosses are a lovely creamy consistency which wears well on the lips. They are also highly pigmented so a little goes a long way. The size of each gloss is great because they can easily fit into a pocket without leaving an obvious bulge. I think my favourite shade out of this set is 01 Capricious Pink as it prides your lips with a lovely pop of bright pink.

Lancome Absolu Au Naturel - £34.95

The palette contains:
- Mini Virtuose Mascara: Noir
- 2 Concealers: Beige Clair 02 and Beige 03
- Powder Blusher: Highlighter Rose 01
- Solid Lip colour: 203
- Lip Gloss
- 8 Powder Eyeshadow: Ombre Absolue: White Duo D01, Gold F30, Pink Quad F30, Taupe Quad F20, Brown F60, Dark Grey Quad Q10, Black Quad G10 Ombre Hypnose: Pink I106
- Compact Powder: Translucide 01
- Mini Eyes and Eybrows Pencil
- Lumiere Defatiguante

This is a complete nude makeup palette which contains everything you need to do your whole makeup look. The palette even contains brushes and a makeup sponge so there really is no need to carry anything else. As always with Lancome products the makeup is of an amazing quality and I think you defiantly get more then your monies worth of products for the price.

As you can see this is a beautiful palette and I'm almost to scared to use it in case I mess it up. This is going to be great for an time I go traveling for a short period of time. It is also a massive space saver if you are only taking hand baggage on a flight as there is no need to lug multiple bottles or containers around.

The palette comes in a velvet case so you can put it in your bag for the day and not need to worry about the packaging getting damaged or the palette popping open.
