Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter

Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter's have been around for a while now but I feel they are a great Spring/Summer make up staple. The lip butters are formulated from hydrating mango, shea and coconut butters which boost lip moisture. Available in 20 shades there is a great range to choose from.

I have 3 lip butters from the range which I feel compliment a pale skin tone.

These colours are which I use on a regular basis 035 Candy Apple, 027 Juicy Papaya and 080 Strawberry Shortcake. The Lip Butters give you sheer to medium colour intensity which you can build up to create a bolder colour.

I have found that the lighter shades are towards the sheerer end of the scale and give your lips just a hint of colour but the darker red shade does give a bolder lip effect. The lip butters themselves do leave your lips feeling gorgeously moisturised. However as it is a butter consistency the staying power isn't amazing. I find that you do need to reapply quite frequently if you want to keep colour on your lips. I think these products are great value for money priced at £7.99 and usually available on offers from Boots and Superdrug they are worth having in your makeup bag.
